Does Artex contain asbestos?

Intact Artex ceilings, even if asbestos-containing, can be safely plastered over using a non-disturbance encapsulation method in line with Health and Safety Executive guidance.

Can you plaster over swirl or stipple patterns?

Yes, as long as it’s well bonded to the ceiling, we can cover all patterns.

Will it make a mess?

The process can get dusty that's why we provide full floor and wall protection — no mess left behind.

How long does it take?

We can do 1-5 ceilings per day, depending on size and prep.

How long until paint can be applied?

Usually takes 3-5 days for the plaster to fully dry and then it can be painted.
